Everbilt 4 ft. Galvanized Metal Chain Link Fence Tension Bar

Everbilt 4 ft. Galvanized Chain Link Tension Bars are an essential component of chain link fence installation. These steel tension bars are used to secure the chain link fabric to the terminal (end) post, corner posts and gate posts. These chain link fittings are designed to distribute pressure evenly throughout the fabric, minimizing bending and damage to the fence fabric. The Everbilt Metal Fence Tension Bars have a galvanized coating to help resist weathering and rust and increase longevity. This coating makes the fittings perfect for outdoor and long-term use. Each bar measures 48 in. x 3/16 in. x 5/8 in. 2 tension bars are needed to ensure equal tension from top to bottom, which produces a rigid tension that is needed to prevent sagging of the chain link fabric. Attach vertically to posts with tension bands and carriage bolts (sold separately).
